Develop, implement, and maintain embedded Linux software and telematics systems for Oxbo’s product platforms. Contribute to the creation of modular, scalable software integrated with cloud services and mobile applications, while collaborating globally with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality implementation, documentation, and system integration.

• Integrate solutions with engineering, IT, service teams, global suppliers, and partners.
• Maintain transparent communication regarding progress, risks, blockers, and technical decisions.
• Deliver assigned tasks with high quality and within established timelines.
• Participate in technical reviews, engineering discussions, and ensure compliance with global standards.
• Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to technology roadmaps and standardization efforts.
• Gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements using specialized tools (e.g., CodeBeamer).
• Participate in DFMEA activities and ensure adherence to ISO standards and architectural guidelines.
• Design and develop functions for telematics and embedded Linux systems, reusing approved modules.
• Document interfaces and technical decisions, ensuring consistent system integration.
• Maintain the stability, security, and availability of the telematics platform, including updates, fixes, and incident response.
• Perform MIL and HIL testing, support field validation, and define testing strategies and plans.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support development workflow optimization initiatives.
• Apply modular design principles and contribute to shared libraries and components.
• Use and assist in evaluating development tools while ensuring global standardization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support internal communication and knowledge sharing.
• Contribute to updates of the Module Book, ensuring it remains a central reference source.
• Develop training materials and deliver technical training sessions for internal and service teams.
• Follow safety policies, identify risks, and apply safe practices during testing and commissioning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with embedded Linux, telematics, or embedded systems.
• Knowledge in:
• C++, Qt, Python, Thingworx, Linux, SQL, HTML, CSS, Android/iOS
• CodeBeamer, Git, PLM/PDM (e.g., Windchill), ERP
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have

• Experience with HMI, J1939, or agricultural telematics systems.
• Background in modular architecture and shared software libraries.
• Experience with Azure SQL.
