Job summary

BBST - Brazil seeks a Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety) to join the 777X team in Brazil. You will coordinate certification activities, liaise with FAA/EASA/ANAC processes, and lead integration efforts across multiple engineering domains.

The role requires strong English communication, experience with airplane systems, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or higher is required.
• Proficient in English communication, both written and spoken.
• Experience with airplane systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with ARP 4754/4761 and DO-178/DO-254 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as systems integration focal for Certification and Safety projects.
• Coordinate with Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, and Certification Office teams.
• Facilitate readiness reviews, ALIT/Reg Admin meetings, and data collection sessions.

Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety)### Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety)Apply: Hybrid Job: BRA - Sao Jose dos Campos, Brazil: Full time: Posted Today: End Date: November 17, 2026 (20 days left to apply): JR2026527867Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety)**Company:**BBST - BrazilWe are currently seeking an experienced **Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer (Certification and Safety),** to join our dynamic the **777X team as a Systems Integration Engineer supporting the Certification and Safety team, in Brazil.** **Key responsibilities include:** * Systems integration focal for Certification and Safety projects supporting the entire systems IPT (Integrator Product Team);* Collaborate with organizations such as Systems, Propulsion, Interiors, Avionics, Structures, Reg Admin (Boeing Certification Office), and ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) to coordinate/communicate technical information, processes, and strategies supporting airplane level certification and safety efforts* Flow down direction from ALIT (Aircraft Level Integration Team) following Boeing safety process (based on ARP 4761)* To promote alignments within internal areas of the company in order to conducted and conclude certification process (program area, other engineering areas, certification/airworthiness area, project management area, etc);* Utilize feedback and lessons learned from systems teams to contribute to improvements on product development process.* Partner with systems IPTs to support them in completing certification and safety activities within the specified program schedule and help resolve issues/roadblocks as they arise.* Ability to find and understand Boeing processes, FAA & EASA regulations, and certification methods of compliance (Part 21 and Part 25);* Ability to use requirements management tools when necessary;* Facilitate various integration meetings (Readiness reviews, ALIT/ Reg Admin, and Program requests, host System team meetings for communications and data collection)* To integrate system level and airplane level subjects when required / necessary.**This position is hybrid.
