Job summary

BBST - Brazil in Brazil (Sao Jose dos Campos) is seeking a Mid-Level Airplane Systems Integration Engineer to support Development Assurance and Requirements. You will lead cross-functional Systems teams to ensure DAR entrance criteria are met, using DOORS and program metrics, while mentoring engineers and aligning with FAA processes.

The position is hybrid in Brazil, with relocation support and no visa sponsorship provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; CREA registration eligible.
• Proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Experience in airplane systems development and ARP 4754 Development Assurance.
• Ability to lead across Systems IPTs and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Systems Integration focal for Development Assurance and Requirements across the Systems IPTs.
• Provide technical leadership, train, coach, and mentor engineers for FAA Development Assurance Reviews.
• Consolidate and streamline guidance and processes to ensure first-pass quality.
• Collaborate with ALIT to revise process documentation and guidance.
• Develop metrics to track progress and communicate program risks and mitigations.
