A global aerospace leader is seeking a Mid-Career Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer in São José dos Campos, Brazil. The role involves guiding structural integrity assessments, developing analytical methods, and supporting product testing. Overview

Mid-Career Propulsion Structural Analysis Engineer at Boeing, located in São José dos Campos, Brazil. Reports to the Propulsion Structures Engineering Manager.

Position Responsibilities

• Guide development, integration and documentation of structural requirements to establish the system design.
• Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
• Guide development of test plans and configurations, support test execution and analyze/report test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Support in-service products by leading investigations into failures and analyzing improvements. Develop analytical processes/tools to improve effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Must have existing rights to work in Brazil.
• Must have a degree in Engineering.
• Must be registered or eligible to register with the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia - CREA).
• Proficient in both verbal and written communications in English.
• Relevant experience with structural engineering.

Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)

• Experience in structural analysis methods and tools (hand-calculation and finite element analysis).
• Experience in design and analysis of metallic and/or composite materials.
• Experience in durability and damage tolerance analysis.
• Experience in compliance demonstration for regulatory requirements (ANAC/FAA).
• Experience in Fleet Support and Repair design and substantiation.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Brazil. Candidates must have current legal authorization to live and work in Brazil.
