Unimed seeks a data analytics professional to track, analyze, and quantify healthcare costs and KPIs across its owned network of hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. You will build management reports and dashboards to support executive decision-making.

The role emphasizes SQL, Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense dashboards, advanced Excel, ETL concepts, and data governance to ensure data quality. Three years of experience and a bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualificações

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Statistics, or related field.
Three years of relevant experience.
Strong SQL with complex queries and optimization.
Experience building dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Qlik Sense.
Advanced Excel/VBA and data automation.
Knowledge of ETL, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
Proficiency with hospital KPIs and cost analysis.
Experience with healthcare ERP systems and pricing tables.
Python or R familiarity is a plus.

Track, analyze, and quantify healthcare costs and performance indicators for accredited providers and owned facilities through tactical and business-level activities.
Build management reports and present the analyses prepared.
Monitor, track, and update the department’s workflows and documentation.
Map and structure the key KPIs for Unimed’s owned network, including hospitals, emergency departments, medical centers, and laboratories.
Develop executive reports and dashboards to support decision‑making by managers and directors.
Conduct ad hoc analyses to identify operational bottlenecks, deviations in healthcare costs, and opportunities to optimize resources across the owned network.
Automate management-report extraction and consolidation routines to reduce manual work.
Ensure the quality, integrity, and consistency of databases by applying basic Data Governance practices.

Requirements

Required education: Completed or ongoing bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, or a related field.
Three years of experience in the relevant area or industry segment.
Proficiency in SQL queries, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and optimization.
Hands‑on experience building and maintaining interactive dashboards in Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense.
Advanced Excel/VBA skills, including working with large volumes of data, complex formulas, pivot tables, and spreadsheet automation.
Knowledge of ETL processes, Data Warehouses, and Data Marts.
Proficiency in hospital and outpatient KPIs, such as bed occupancy rate, average length of stay, readmission/rehospitalization rate, bed turnover, and physician productivity.
Understanding of healthcare costs, claims ratio, average revenue per encounter, and operating margin by facility.
Experience with healthcare-sector ERP systems, such as MV/SOUL MV, Tupy, TOTVS Saúde, or Philips TASY.
Familiarity with TUSS, CBHPM, SIMPRO, and BRASÍNDICE healthcare pricing and procedure tables.
Familiarity with Fee‑for‑Service, Bundled Payment, and Capitation reimbursement models.
Graduate-level education, certifications, or specialized knowledge in the field are desirable.
Intermediate knowledge of Python or R is a plus.

Core Competencies

Proficient in SQL for complex queries and data analysis, with hands‑on experience in building interactive dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik Sense. Strong understanding of healthcare KPIs and cost management, complemented by advanced Excel/VBA skills for data manipulation and automation.
