Job summary

Henkel Corporation LATAM is seeking a Regional Maintenance Manager to drive reliability, safety and cost efficiency across Brasil, Chile, Argentina and Mexico. You will lead Maintenance, Reliability, Automation and Capital Projects, aligning global standards with LATAM execution.

You will develop asset strategies, monitor KPIs, promote Industry 4.0 initiatives, and partner with Operations, Finance and Health & Safety to meet ambitious performance goals across plants.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in maintenance programs.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams across Engineering, Maintenance, Controls/Automation, and Operations.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs.
• Experience implementing process automation and controls systems.
• Experience managing operating budgets, maintenance spend, and capital planning.
• SAP or equivalent ERP systems experience.
• Fluent in English; strong communication skills.
• 30% international travel required.

Job description

The Regional Maintenance Manager is a critical member of the LATAM Leadership Team (Brasil, Chile, Argentina, Mexico) and is responsible for driving equipment reliability, manufacturing innovation.
This role provides strategic leadership for Maintenance, Reliability, Automation, and Capital Project functions, ensuring world‑class performance in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer service. The successful candidate will lead the connection between Global and LATAM sites in maintenance and reliability performance.

What you´ll do

• Support to sites to develop and execute a comprehensive Asset Reliability Strategy incorporating preventive, predictive, condition-based, and reliability-centered maintenance methodologies to maximize equipment availability, extend asset life, and improve maintenance cost effectiveness
• Support sites to establish and monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as required for all manufacturing equipment, systems, and processes at the plant to achieve key operational, quality assurance, health and safety, and cost optimization goals
• Support sites to develop and execute plant automation, controls modernization, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve production performance, data visibility, equipment reliability, and operational efficiency
• Partner closely with Operations, Capital Investment, Health & Safety, and Finance to achieve plant performance objectives and strategic business goals.

• Demonstrated expertise in preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs and the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Competent knowledge and experience managing the implementation of process automation, controls systems, and network-connected instrumentation
• Demonstrated responsibility for operating budgets, maintenance spend, capital planning, and financial performance improvement initiatives.
• Preferred with SAP or equivalent ERP systems, CMMS platforms, Microsoft Office applications, project management tools, and CAD software.
• Fluent in English. Strong written and oral communication skills in English required for internal / external reporting and communication.
• 30% international travel required for management meetings
