CHENG JI BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking an M&E Engineer/Manager to lead the M&E team on construction projects.

You will schedule M&E works, conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and handle variations to ensure compliance with company and authorities’ requirements. You will review M&E drawings, prepare progress reports for consultants and meetings, and coordinate with clients, consultants and subcontractors to resolve design and construction issues.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in the Construction Industry.
• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare M&E works schedule based on the project master schedule.
• Accountable for all M&E works, site inspections, monitoring progress and variations.
• Ensure all M&E works comply with the Company and authorities' requirements.
• Review M&E drawings and submissions to prevent conflicts with architectural/structural elements.
• Prepare reports for Consultant Progress and Technical Meetings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery and resolve design/construction issues.
• Manage all staff within the M&E team.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Company.

Conhecimentos

Formação académica

Engineering degree/diploma (Mechanical or Electrical)

Job Description:

• Prepare M&E works schedule based on the project master schedule.
• Accountable for all M&E works, site inspections, monitoring of progress of work & variation order.
• Responsible in ensuring that all M&E works of the sub-contractors are in compliance to the Company’s and authorities’ requirements.
• Review M&E drawings and other materials submission prepare by the M&E Coordinators to ensure that there are no discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements.
• To prepare report for the Consultant Progress and Technical Meetings.
• To coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues.
• Manage all staff within the M&E team.
• Other ad-hoc assinged by the Company.

Job Requirements:

• Min. 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
• Recognised Degree/Diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Bilingual in English & Mandarin in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts.
