Overview

Loader Tote Stacker role at C&S Wholesale Grocers. As a Tote Stacker/Loader, you will stack totes of product from a conveyor line onto a pallet to be loaded onto a trailer.

Position Details

• Earn $19.00 per hour plus incentives
• Full Time, 1st shift start time 6am
• Location: Bethlehem, PA

Responsibilities

• Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack.
• Inspect trailer for damage before loading.
• Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets.
• Wrap pallet and stretch wrap.
• Operate battery changing hoist.
• Keep work area clean.
• Complete inspection forms on equipment operated.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
• Travel Required: No

Physical requirements

• Continually standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools

• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse: Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Qualifications

• Specialized Knowledge: Certified forklift and pallet jack operator
• Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include: safe work, reliability and satisfactory attendance, quality work, productivity, and operation of required MHE
• Physical abilities: Up to 60 lbs frequently; up to 60 lbs occasionally; continuous standing and walking; climbing up to 4 ft with fall protection training; handling hearing, seeing and repetitive movement
