Legal Operations Analyst Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented legal professional to support the day-to‑day legal operations of a global organization. This role will work closely with internal stakeholders, external counsel, and cross‑functional teams to manage legal matters, streamline processes, and support the company’s operational and regulatory needs.
The ideal candidate combines strong legal knowledge with a practical, solutions‑focused mindset and the ability to operate effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support a wide range of legal operational activities across multiple jurisdictions.
- Manage and coordinate matters with external law firms and legal service providers.
- Assist in the handling of litigation, disputes, regulatory inquiries, and customer escalations.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries, recommendations, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather information, analyze issues, and support decision‑making.
- Participate in meetings with internal teams and international stakeholders, documenting key discussions and action items.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of legal policies, procedures, playbooks, and internal guidelines.
- Monitor legal matters and ensure timely follow‑up on actions, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Support initiatives related to data privacy, regulatory compliance, and emerging legal topics, including artificial intelligence and technology‑related matters.
- Act as a liaison between legal, business, and operational teams to facilitate efficient issue resolution.
- Provide support in administrative and operational legal processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of corporate legal environments and business operations.
- Experience handling legal, regulatory, litigation, or dispute‑related matters.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with limited supervision.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced to fluent English is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a multinational or global organization.
- Experience managing relationships with external counsel.
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (LGPD, GDPR or similar).
- Experience supporting technology, software, SaaS or digital businesses.
- Spanish proficiency is a strong plus.
