Sibelco in Analândia, Brazil, seeks a Manager Legal to provide expert legal services to the organization in the region. This permanent role focuses on corporate and commercial law, regulatory compliance, and helping the business navigate complex contracts.

Key duties include drafting and negotiating international contracts, supporting M&A activities, advising on data protection and IP, and coordinating with project teams from start to finish on mining-site developments and product rollouts.

Qualificações

• At least 3-5 years of experience in a legal role.
• English – proficient verbal & writing.
• Proficiency in at least one local language of the sub-region (Portuguese).

Responsabilidades

• Legal expertise: Write reports that require research of statutes, regulations or court decisions.
• M&A: Assist with joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and divestments and related due diligence.
• Contract negotiation: Drafting and negotiating international contracts with third parties and colleagues.
• Business support: Provide guidance on Corporate & Commercial Law, data protection and IP.
• Project management: Participate in local project teams from start to finish on site developments.

Together, we can shape the future.**Job Description:****Role Purpose:*** As a recognized specialist, provides expert legal services to the organization in the country/countries of the sub-region* This is a legal advisor who can demonstrate increasing competence in applying basic legal skills and departmental practices, plus evidence of maturity and judgement to analyze and solve legal problems and deal with clients and outsiders**Responsibilities:*** Legal Expertise: Write legal reports that sometimes require extensive research of statutes, regulations or court decisions* M&A: Assist with joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions and divestments (including amongst others, legal due diligence, drafting, reviewing, assisting in negotiation of sale purchase of assets / joint venture / collaboration agreements and any other legal documentation necessary to give effect to the envisaged transactions) and to ensure legal compliance* Contract Negotiation: Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide variety of mainly international business-related contracts with third parties and colleagues from other departments /assist in private and public tender processes* Business Support: Provide legal advice, guidance, information in Corporate & Commercial Law, data protection- and intellectual property law* Project Management: Being part local project teams from start to finish: development of new mining sites or products, construction of new plants, innovation projects, roll-out of implementation of new legislation**About you:*** At least 3-5 years of experience in a legal role* English – proficient verbal & writing* At least one local language of the sub-region covered by the role – proficient verbal & writing**Employee Type:**Permanent**Why Join Us?**Sibelco is more than a workplace—it’s a community that encourages growth, innovation, and collaboration.
