Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. seeks a Lead Functional Tester to join a fast-moving e-commerce team. You’ll own functional testing across desktop, mobile, native apps, and backend components, while driving GenAI-powered QA initiatives.

You will lead automation efforts, refine testing strategies, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and strong user experiences in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of practical, hands-on QA experience.
• At least one year leading or managing development teams.
• Background applying GenAI tools and services to strengthen QA workflows.
• Experience in mobile testing and API/web services testing.
• Ability to shape and continually refine Testing Strategy.
• Strong grasp of Agile methodology principles.
• Reasonable communication skills with English fluency (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Carry out functional testing across desktop, mobile web, native apps, and back-end components.
• Create and execute automated test scripts.
• Apply GenAI tools to improve regression runtime, script upkeep and reporting.
• Refine workflows to maximize GenAI benefits.
• Lead AI integrations within the QA approach.
• Execute web analytics testing using Charles proxy and Adobe Analytics.
• Develop and adjust Test Strategy to changing conditions.
• Review product requirements for clarity and alignment.
• Record and validate defects throughout testing.
• Oversee automation progress across the Pod.
