Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a skilled Functional Tester to join its Verification & Validation team.

You will help ensure platform deliverables work by installing, upgrading, and regression-testing in Kubernetes environments, debugging deployments, and supporting automated gateways. You will create test cases, log defects, and maintain regression suites for installer/CLI changes, while collaborating with a North America-based scrum team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of QA experience in product testing.
• Experience with installation, upgrade, regression and integration testing.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Helm chart installations.
• Ability to debug deployments and clean up Helm releases.
• Understanding of GitOps workflows and Flux tooling.
• Experience with CI (Jenkins) and scripting (Bash, Python).
• Familiarity with regulated environments and validation evidence.

Responsibilities

• Spin up clean Kubernetes environments and run platform installers.
• Execute installation, upgrade, regression, and integration tests.
• Install and troubleshoot Helm charts; diagnose deployments with kubectl/logs.
• Validate GitOps deployments including upgrades and backups.
• Develop post-deployment health checks; contribute to regression suites.
• Create test evidence suitable for regulated validation and change control.

Job description

We are looking for a skilled Functional Tester to join the team as a Verification & Validation (V&V) team member.
