A Wabtec Corporation, localizada em Contagem, MG, procura líder técnico para conduzir a implantação do Trip Optimizer (TO) em clientes no Brasil e internacionalmente, atuando com as equipes de Digital Intelligence e Trip Optimizer.

Você liderará projetos, coordenará equipes multifuncionais, definirá planos, executará testes e garantirá entregas com alta qualidade, disponibilidade e eficiência operacional. Regime presencial na unidade de Contagem.

Qualificações

• Graduação em Engenharia, Física, Química, Matemática, Ciência da Computação ou área técnica relacionada.
• Experiência ampla em engenharia, execução de projetos técnicos ou implantação de software.
• Disponibilidade para viagens nacionais e internacionais de até 15%.
• Boas habilidades de comunicação em inglês e português.

Responsabilidades

• Analisar o desempenho do Trip Optimizer e identificar oportunidades de melhoria.
• Conduzir implantação e projetos em locais de clientes, coordenando equipes e contratados.
• Ser o ponto de contato principal com clientes durante a execução e comissionamento.
• Traduzir requisitos do cliente em planos de projeto e acompanhar marcos, qualidade e objetivos críticos.
• Coordenar com equipes globais de engenharia para definir, desenvolver e implantar melhorias de produto.
• Criar e executar planos de teste, treinamentos, procedimentos de implantação e documentação técnica.
• Identificar oportunidades para ampliar o valor para o cliente através de soluções adicionais.
• Garantir que os produtos/serviços atendam padrões de qualidade, confiabilidade e desempenho.

Job Description

Essa posição é para atuar em regime presencial, em Contagem, MG.

Who will you be working with?

You will be working with the Digital Intelligence and Trip Optimizer teams, collaborating closely with customers, field service teams, software engineers, project managers, and global engineering resources to deploy and optimize Wabtec's Trip Optimizer solution across railroad operations in Brazil and other regions.

How will you make a difference?

As a member of the Digital Intelligence organization, you will be responsible for leading the deployment, implementation, and continuous improvement of Wabtec's Trip Optimizer (TO) solution across multiple customer accounts. You will serve as the primary technical and project leader throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery, customer satisfaction, and achievement of key operational performance targets. This role combines project execution, technical analysis, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership to drive business value and operational efficiency for our customers.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Large experience in engineering, technical project execution, software deployment, or related disciplines.
• Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities.
• Experience managing complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Preferred experience within the railroad industry.
• Knowledge of locomotive systems and railroad operating practices.
• Experience with data analytics and performance optimization.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of MATLAB is preferred.

What will your typical day look like?

• Analyze Trip Optimizer performance across customer fleets and identify opportunities to improve key performance indicators, including availability, utilization, fuel efficiency, train handling, and cycle time.
• Lead deployment and implementation projects at customer locations, coordinating cross-functional teams, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout project execution and commissioning activities.
• Translate customer requirements into detailed project plans and ensure successful execution against milestones, quality standards, and critical-to-quality objectives.
• Coordinate with global engineering teams to define, develop, test, validate, and deploy product enhancements and system improvements.
• Create and execute test plans, training programs, deployment procedures, and technical documentation.
• Identify opportunities to expand customer value through additional solutions, enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure delivered products and services meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.
• Provide regular project updates, manage technical issues, and drive issue resolution with internal and external stakeholders.
• Support customer adoption and long-term operational success by leveraging data analytics and technical expertise.
