Job summary

EPAM Systems, Inc. is seeking a Lead AI Engineer to architect a greenfield, multi-agent AI platform powering proactive FinOps workflows across multi-cloud environments. You will lead agent orchestration, governance, security, and high-scale API services while mentoring engineers.

You will drive architecture to production, implement centralized routing and cost tracking, and define auditable approval paths. Strong leadership and hands-on delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ years in AI/platform leadership.
• Proven leadership to mentor engineers and drive code reviews and standards.
• Advanced Python (3.11+) for production-grade AI services.
• Strong FastAPI skills for secure, scalable endpoints.
• GCP experience including workload identity and production operations.
• Security/governance knowledge including Zero Trust, RBAC, and immutable audit logging.
• Excellent communication in English (B2+).

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver a multi-agent AI platform with specialized agents.
