Job Title: Procurement Manager

Be responsible for developing, maintaining a strategy, and managing a Category Excellence Team to source a competitive and cost-effective limited portfolio of raw materials across all manufacturing plants, in accordance with GP policies and procedures, while meeting financial and non-financial targets.

Responsibilities/Description

• Possess knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
• Have excellent procurement experience in responsible products and experience working in a matrix environment.
• Be recognized as an expert in the area of responsibility, with product depth and contacts in key supply markets.
• Have strong knowledge of business practices and financial concepts, including impact and analyses.
• Apply procurement best practices and AT Kearney's 7-step strategic sourcing methodology for global procurement.
• Demonstrate strong project management, people leadership, and presentation skills. People management experience with direct reports is required.
• Hold CPSM, SPSM, or related certifications in supply chain or procurement excellence.
• Have excellent experience in identifying, developing, and promoting new and existing supplier relationships globally.
• Engage cross-functionally with R&D, Commercial, Creation, Production, Quality, etc.
• Possess strong communication skills (written and oral) in English and experience in global interactions.
• Be an expert in planning and managing complex and new projects.
• Understand matrix organizations and proactively lead through influence.
• Represent IFF effectively outside the organization.
• Leverage team talents, influence, and manage team dynamics.
• Understand dealing with ambiguity and be able to explain this to others.
• Exhibit strong mentoring skills and the ability to coach team members.
• Engage and motivate people, and challenge the organization constructively.
• Create an environment that fosters learning and development opportunities.
• Share knowledge and insights actively.
• Provide guidance and coaching to other departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Over 10 years of experience, with an average of more than 7 years in the current position.
• Certifications: CPSM, SPSM, or related in supply chain or procurement excellence.
