JPMorgan Chase & Co. in São Paulo is seeking a LatAm KYC Quality Control Analyst (vaga PCD) to ensure AML/KYC compliance for new and existing clients.

The role reports to a KYC Associate or Manager and operates from São Paulo, Brazil within a hybrid model (three days in office, two days remote). Required: a bachelor’s degree in business/economics/accounting, 2+ years in banking or financial services, fluent English, and strong PC skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related fields.
• 2+ years of experience in customer service, operations, sales or portfolio management, preferably banking/financial services.
• Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Experience with AML/KYC programs and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Review client profiles and lifecycle for consistency based on documents and activity.
• Ensure AML/KYC policies and procedures are applied per local/global standards.
• Identify and resolve issues and patterns to mitigate risk and fraud exposure.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology and Global Client Onboarding teams.

Job Description

As part of the LatAm KYC Quality Control team, you will be a key part of the JPM business, and you will report to a KYC Associate or KYC Manager.

You will be a key part of the JPM business ensuring a comprehensive due diligent review is completed for new and existing clients in accordance with AML/KYC standards, based in São Paulo, Brazil.

Job Responsibilities:

• Performing the review of client profiles, checking for consistency of the whole Lifecyclebased on legal and commercial documents, to understand client´s activity, structure,and associated risks
• Obtain a general understanding of and execute AML (Anti money laundering) policies and internal procedures, in accordance with local and global principles.
• Resolve issues by identifying underlying or hidden problems and patterns
• Build knowledge of procedures, systems, products and services
• Foster partnerships with other supporting areas such as Legal, Compliance, Internal Controls, Technology, Client Services, including Global Client Onboarding teams
• Identify and control risk to prevent fraudulent account behavior and potential fraud exposure
• Prioritize daily workload to maximize productivity utilizing time management and organizational skills
• Follow all established policies, procedures and practices
• Project a confident and professional presence to all the extended teams we work with
• Work independently with supervision and elevate complex issues as necessary to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Daily activities will include, but are not limited, to reviewing client profiles. Additionally, we currently operate in the hybrid work model i.e. three days in the office and two days work from home.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree on Business Administration, Economics, Accounting or related courses.
• +2 years of experience on customer service, operations, sales or portfolio management experience, preferably with work experience primarily in banking or the financial service industry
• Proficient PC skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent English is mandatory, both written and verbally.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Previous experience with AML/KYC.
• Relentless and versatile learner with an aptitude for assimilating new industry, company, product or technical knowledge.
• Highly organized, proactive and motivated with strong prioritization skills, innovation and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated, consistent professional presence with the ability to adapt to evolving needs and situations.
• Sense of urgency/ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Demonstrates flexibility and willingness to accept new assignments and challenges in a rapidly changing environment, as well as handling multiple tasks and changing priorities on a daily basis.
  

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

• Previous experience with Investment Banking is a plus.
• Knowledge of tools such asAlteryx, Tableau, BI, UiPath, will be considered an asset
