CI&T is seeking a Mobile Application Architect specializing in native iOS to lead the architecture and integration of an eye-screening AI model within a client app.

You will define architecture, evaluate AI inference options, and translate clinical needs into scalable technical solutions while communicating clearly with stakeholders in English.

We're looking for a Mobile Application Architect, specialized in native iOS development, to work on a strategic project with a client who wants to embed an Artificial Intelligence model into their app to help patients identify and screen for potential eye problems. This person will be responsible for designing the best mobile architecture to bring this solution to life, combining deep iOS technical expertise with a clear view of the business and the product.

Key responsibilities:

• Solution architecture: lead the definition of the mobile architecture (native iOS, Swift/SwiftUI) to embed the eye-screening AI model into the client's app.
• AI model integration: evaluate and recommend the best inference strategy (on-device via Core ML vs. cloud services), weighing performance, latency, accuracy, health-data privacy, and patient experience.
• Business-to-tech translation: connect the client's clinical and business needs to viable technical solutions, drawing clear architecture diagrams and flows.
• Stakeholder communication: present and defend architecture decisions to both technical and executive audiences, in fluent English.
• Quality and best practices: define native iOS development standards that ensure performance, scalability, and maintainability.

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience in mobile application architecture, with a focus on native iOS development (Swift, SwiftUI/UIKit).
• Experience (or strong demonstrated interest) integrating AI/ML models into mobile applications.
• Ease sketching technical solutions — diagrams, architecture prototypes — and articulating them clearly.
• Ability to connect business problems to technical solutions, with a strategic product mindset.
• Fluent English, for communication with international stakeholders.
• Nice to have
• Prior experience in healthtech or regulated health products.
• Familiarity with sensitive data privacy and protection practices (LGPD/HIPAA).
