Jobgether in Brazil seeks a mid-level Java Developer to contribute to the analysis, design, and development of technology projects within an established engineering environment.

You will work across backend and frontend technologies to build, enhance, and maintain reliable business applications, using Java 8+ with Spring Boot, React.js, TypeScript, JSF, and JBoss. Apply clean-code principles while collaborating with stakeholders and delivering meaningful solutions.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Solid hands-on experience as a software developer building and maintaining applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Batch, JPA).
• Experience with relational databases, especially Oracle.
• Frontend experience with React.js and TypeScript.
• Knowledge of JSF and PrimeFaces for enterprise apps.
• Familiarity with JBoss 7 or similar servers.
• Strong clean-code principles and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within processes.

The role combines Java development with modern Spring frameworks, relational databases, and JavaScript-based interfaces.

You’ll contribute to projects following established technology and development methodologies while applying clean-code principles.

Accountabilities

• Analyze, design, develop, and maintain IT systems and software projects in accordance with established technology and development methodologies.
• Build and enhance backend applications using Java 8+ and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring JPA.
• Develop and maintain frontend applications using JavaScript technologies, particularly React.js and TypeScript.
• Work with JSF and PrimeFaces where required within existing enterprise applications.
• Develop database solutions using relational Oracle databases, ensuring reliable data access and application performance.
• Apply clean-code principles and established software engineering practices to produce maintainable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Support applications running on enterprise application servers such as JBoss 7 and contribute to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent completed education in Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven professional experience as a software developer, with solid hands‑on experience building and maintaining applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+ and experience with the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot, Spring Batch, and Spring JPA.
• Experience working with relational databases, particularly Oracle, including application integration and data management.
• Knowledge of frontend JavaScript development using React.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with JSF and PrimeFaces is required for maintaining and evolving relevant enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with JBoss 7 or similar enterprise application servers.
• Strong understanding and practical application of clean-code principles.
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, communicate clearly, and work within established development processes.
