Position Summary:

The IT Technical Support Specialist provides on-site technical assistance for the Sao Paulo office. You will be a key point of contact for hardware, software, and network support, ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations. You will work closely with employees, IT teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues, implement system updates, and maintain IT infrastructure. This role requires problem-solving skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to collaborate with other IT departments to support the location.

Essential Functions:

  1. Service Operations
  2. Provide tier II technical support, diagnosing and resolving issues for computers, mobile devices, printers, and hardware specific to the Sao Paulo environment.
  3. Serve as the primary on-site IT support for high-priority or “white glove” issues involving employee onboarding, hardware, software, and network issues.
  4. Help maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT assets, including computers, peripherals, software licenses, and network equipment. Coordinate with the IT Asset management team regarding hardware purchases, warranty claims, and replacements.

Cyber Security:

  1. Support IT cybersecurity policies including end-user training, password management, MFA, and endpoint security.
  2. Ensure compliance with corporate IT standards and assist with security audits and incidents.

Technical Operations:

  1. Collaborate with the technical operations team and assist with infrastructure-related issues involving servers, network, and back-office IT services.

Business Systems & Support:

  1. Understand the business systems that the Sao Paulo location relies upon.
  2. Serve as Tier 1 support to ensure that business system issues are well documented and routed to the correct support group.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations by completing training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role. Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical skills in Windows OS, office suite, endpoint management, mobile OS (Android & iOS), MFPs, and workspace management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, solve tier 1 technical issues, and escalate when needed.
  • Customer-oriented with a sense of urgency; collaborative team player.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Regularly lift/move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds. Must have specific vision abilities including close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
