Essity is seeking an IT Support Specialist for our Jarinu factory in São Paulo, Brazil. This onsite role focuses on hands-on IT infrastructure support across devices, networks, and workplace technology.

You will work with employees, service providers, and global IT teams to resolve issues, document processes, and contribute to local and global IT initiatives, including security and compliance. Fluency in English is required with Spanish knowledge a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor degree or equivalent in IT/CS/Systems/Engineering.
• 3–5 years of IT support experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Know-how across hardware, software, OS, networks, servers, ITSM tools, ticketing, security, cloud, and collaboration tools.
• Spanish language experience is a plus; English is required.

About The Role

As an IT Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on technology support at our factory in Jarinu, São Paulo, Brazil. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting the IT infrastructure and workplace technology used in daily business operations.

You will work closely with employees, service providers, and global IT teams to maintain reliable systems, resolve technical issues, and support the implementation of technology solutions. Your ability to combine technical expertise with clear, confident stakeholder communication will be essential to your success.

The position offers exposure to a broad IT environment, including computers, operating systems, networks, servers, workplace applications, Wi‑Fi infrastructure, access points, IT assets, and security processes.

What You Will Do

• Technical Support: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, connectivity, and workplace technology issues while minimizing disruption to onsite operations.
• Infrastructure Support: Support local servers, networks, Wi‑Fi, access points, and related infrastructure in collaboration with global IT teams and external service providers.
• Workplace Technology: Install, configure, maintain, and replace computers, smartphones, printers, collaboration tools, and other end‑user equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Analyze recurring technical issues, recommend lasting solutions, improve support documentation, and contribute to local and global IT initiatives that enhance system performance, operational efficiency, and the employee technology experience.
• Asset Administration: Maintain accurate records for hardware, software, licenses, configurations, and equipment maintenance using the agreed IT tools.
• Security and Compliance: Follow IT security protocols, operational processes, documentation standards, and internal and external audit requirements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build effective relationships with employees, communication teams, providers, and global IT colleagues while supporting technology projects and local rollouts.

Who You Are

• Complete Bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in information technology, computer science, systems, engineering or another relevant field.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience providing IT support in a manufacturing, supply chain, office, or similarly complex operational environment.
• You bring practical knowledge of hardware, software, operating systems, networks, servers, IT service management tools, ticketing systems, IT assets, security principles, cloud platforms, and collaboration tools. Familiarity with supply chain systems or operational technology is an advantage.
• You can communicate technical information clearly, collaborate effectively within all employees and stakeholders, document your work accurately, and take initiative to solve problems.
• English proficiency is necessary, combined with confidence and willingness to communicate with international peers. Spanish knowledge will be highly appreciated.

More About Jarinu

This position is based at our factory in Jarinu, São Paulo, Brazil and requires full‑time onsite presence. Being present at the location enables you to provide responsive, hands‑on support, work directly with local stakeholders, and collaborate with global teams on infrastructure improvements and technology rollouts.

Jarinu is one of Essity's manufacturing sites in Latin America and responsible to serve the South American market, with sustainability as a core and awared priority, our team has onsite restaurant facilities, parking access, Charter Bus Lines and other facilities to support you daily activities.
