Siemens Energy seeks an Industrial Controlling Senior to ensure financial transparency and provide analytical support for operations and leadership. You will specialize in cost controlling, variance analysis, forecasting, and internal controls, partnering with plant and finance teams.

The role emphasizes process improvements, automation, and system integration to boost efficiency, with exposure to SAP, Excel, and BI tools in a manufacturing setting.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; postgraduate studies in Finance, Controlling, or Industrial Management preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Cost Controlling, Industrial FP&A, or manufacturing environments; factory costing experience.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills; understanding drivers behind numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills; able to identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP; familiarity with Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Automate is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data automation and visualization technologies relevant to industrial controlling.

Responsabilidades

  • Conduct detailed analyses of cost center expenditures, overhead absorption, productivity, and resource utilization; monitor variances including PPV and standard-to-actual differences.
  • Develop industrial assumptions on capacity, volumes, overhead structures, headcount, and productivity while assessing inventory movements and provisioning.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to improve reporting accuracy, forecasting processes, and risk-aware forecasts.
  • Act as a financial business partner to operational areas by identifying deviations and supporting decision-making for efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to internal control frameworks and governance standards; support audits and remediation plans.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and system integration to boost efficiency.

A Snapshot of Your Day

The Industrial Controlling Senior is responsible for ensuring financial transparency, accuracy of industrial results, and high quality analytical support for operational, manufacturing, and leadership teams. This role acts as a subject matter expert in cost controlling, variance analysis, financial planning, internal controls, and performance management within the industrial environment.

How You’ll Make An Impact
  • Conduct detailed analyses of cost center expenditures, overhead absorption, productivity, resource utilization, and monitor cost variances, including PPV and standard to actual differences.
  • Develop industrial assumptions related to capacity, volumes, overhead structures, headcount, and productivity levels while assessing inventory movements and provisioning requirements.
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to enhance reporting accuracy, strengthen forecasting processes, and prepare forecasts with a risk-aware perspective.
  • Serve as a financial business partner to operational areas by identifying deviations, recommending corrective actions, and supporting decision-making for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to local and corporate internal control frameworks, governance standards, and financial compliance requirements while supporting audit activities and remediation plans.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on automation, standardization, and system integration to enhance overall efficiency.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with preferred postgraduate studies in Finance, Controlling, or Industrial Management.
  • Over 4 years of experience in Industrial Controlling, Cost Controlling, Industrial FP&A, or manufacturing environments, with demonstrated experience in factory settings and costing methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial analysis capabilities, with a focus on understanding the underlying business drivers behind the numbers.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to proactively identify and resolve issues independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP, with knowledge of AI-driven analytical tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Power Automate considered a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with data automation and visualization technologies relevant to industrial controlling.
