Bekaert Brasil is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to align people strategies with the Steel Ropes business in Brasil. You will lead a team of 5 HR professionals and serve as a trusted partner to site leaders, driving performance, capability, engagement, and change across the employee lifecycle.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, seven years of HR experience, and strong knowledge of local employment law.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field.
  • Minimum seven years of progressive HR experience, ideally including at least three years in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or comparable business-facing role.
  • Prior experience in a unionized manufacturing/plant environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.

  • Provide guidance on complex employee relations topics, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Drive talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies to build a high-performing workforce within the local context.

  • Analyze HR metrics and trends to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
  • Facilitate change management initiatives and support the business.
  • Act as a coach and mentor to business leaders and HR teams within the location.

Purpose of the Role:

The HR Business Partner Brasil is responsible for aligning the people agenda with the strategic and operational priorities of the Steel Ropes business in Brasil. The role provides hands‑on HR leadership across the employee lifecycle while acting as a trusted partner to business and site leaders, supporting organisational performance, workforce capability, employee and industrial relations, leadership effectiveness, talent development, engagement and sustainable change.The role leads and develops a team of 5 HR professionals.

Key activities and responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, Psychology or a related field
  • Minimunsevenyears of progressive HR experience, ideally including at least three years in an HR Business Partner, HR Manager or comparable business-facing role.
  • Prior experience working in a unionized manufacturing/plant environment preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of local employment law, talent management, and organizational development.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Pragmatic problem-solver with strong people management skills.
  • Structured, engaging, and hands‑on, adaptable to Bekaert's context, influential, collaborative, a strong networker, and skilled in critical analysis and creative problem‑solving
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Professional proficiency in Portuguese and English.
