You will report to the Finance Director, oversee CPC/IFRS compliance, and drive audits and reporting with a hands-on, analytical approach.

The role requires an accounting-related degree, experience in internal controls/audit, and advanced English for coordination with headquarters.

Qualificações

• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance (active CRC is a plus).
• Experience in internal control, internal/external audit, or financial management.
• Advanced English – required for reports and communication with headquarters.
• Knowledge of CPC/IFRS, Brazilian tax legislation, and COSO framework.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle and Power BI / Advanced Excel.
• Knowledge of LGPD (desirable, not mandatory).

A major Japanese multinational in the technology and manufacturing sector is establishing its internal controls area and opening a brand-new opportunity for a Financial Controller with a strong analytical profile, systemic vision, and hands-on approach.

This role reports directly to the Finance Director , with regular interaction with external teams, acting as the technical reference for internal controls, financial compliance, and audit.

Your Mission:

Internal Process Control

• Map, document, and review critical operational and financial processes
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to existing controls
• Manage corporate approval workflows (Ringi system)
• Monitor revenue and expense cycles, AP/AR, treasury, and fixed assets
• Ensure compliance with CPC/IFRS and local tax regulations (IRPJ, CSLL, PIS/COFINS, ICMS, ISS)
• Analyze financial statements to identify anomalies or fraud risks
• Serve as the focal point for internal (headquarters) and external audits
• Maintain and update the company's risk matrix
• Track action plans resulting from audits and regulatory inspections
• Leverage ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and BI tools (Power BI / Advanced Excel) for analysis and reporting
• Prepare management reports to support decision-making

Requirements:

Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance (active CRC is a plus)
