Luxoft is seeking an expert in CATIA-based 3D design for automotive electronics packaging. You will create and optimize mechanical and electromechanical designs, manage 3D models, and ensure correct packaging within vehicle systems. Collaboration with HW, harness, and systems teams is essential.

Responsibilities include clash/clearance and tolerance analyses, applying CAD standards, and supporting DFM/DFA. Data integrity in PLM/PDM and change management will be key daily tasks in a fast-paced

Qualificações

• Expert-level CATIA or comparable CAD tools proficiency.
• Strong 3D/solid modeling, packaging, and installation studies.
• Experience with packaging and integration in complex vehicle systems.
• Ability to interpret requirements and apply CAD standards and release processes.
• Knowledge of PLM/PDM data management and change management.

Responsabilidades

• Create, manage, and optimize mechanical and electromechanical designs in a 3D environment.
• Develop 3D models/assemblies for ECUs, housings, brackets, and harness routing.
• Ensure correct packaging and installation within the product/vehicle.
• Perform clash/clearance and tolerance analyses; consider thermal/mechanical constraints.
• Support DFM/DFA and serviceability; maintain PLM/PDM data quality.
• Collaborate with HW design, harness design, system engineering, and manufacturing.

Ensure the development of electric and electronic hardware solutions with wellbalanced performance steps, delivering with quality and with modular scalability to support the transition to platform all company brands

Responsibilities:

• Expert in 3D design and digital product development using CATIA (or comparable CAD tools), responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing mechanical and electromechanical designs as well as installation concepts in a 3D environment (e.G., ECUs, harness integration, packaging).
• Create and maintain 3D models and assemblies for components and systems (e.G.,
• ECUs, housings, brackets, harness routing).
• Ensure correct packaging and installation within the overall product/vehicle
• consideration of thermal, mechanical, and environmental constraints
• Define and implement design rules and modelling standards to ensure consistency
• and quality.
• Support integration of electrical and electronic components (e.G., HW, harness,
• connectors) into the mechanical environment.
• Perform:
• clash/clearance analyses
• tolerance analyses (dimension chains, variability)
• support design for manufacturing (DFM), assembly (DFA), and serviceability
• Maintain data quality in PLM/PDM systems (structure, versioning, release).
• Support change management (ECR/ECO) by updating models and ensuring
• consistency across assemblies.
• Collaborate closely with:

HW design, harness design, system engineering, and manufacturing

• Provide 3D data and documentation for:
• simulation, validation, and supplier interfaces

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Expert-level proficiency in CATIA (or comparable CAD tools), including:
• surface and solid design o kinematics and installation studies
• Strong understanding of:
• packaging and integration in complex systems (e.G., vehicle environment)
• interpret system and architectural requirements and translate them into 3D designs
• perform and evaluate clash, clearance, and tolerance analyses
• manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, sheet metal, etc.) o integration of electrical/electronic components (ECUs, connectors, harness routing)
• data management in PLM/PDM systems
• applying CAD standards, naming conventions, and release processes
• Analytical and structured problem-solving skills, especially for integration conflicts
