Knightec Group Brazil is seeking a highly skilled HIL Testing Analyst/Engineer to join our automotive ADAS validation team. You will develop, execute, and automate HIL tests using dSPACE platforms, MATLAB/Simulink, and CAN toolchains to validate software and system performance across development stages.

The role involves collaborating with international engineering teams, documenting validation activities, and driving test efficiency through automation.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with HIL testing and software validation.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and execute HIL test cases using dSPACE platforms to validate software and system performance.
• Support MATLAB/Simulink modeling, simulation, and integration activities.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot using CANalyzer and CANoe.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and environments.
• Validate ADAS functions across the development lifecycle.
• Coordinate with international engineering teams for successful system integration.
• Prepare detailed documentation: test plans, cases, results, defects, and validation activities.

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled HIL Testing Analyst/Engineer to join our team supporting a major automotive OEM. The professional will be responsible for developing, executing, and automating Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) tests to validate software and system performance, with a focus on ADAS systems.

Key Responsibilities

• HIL Testing: Develop and execute HIL test cases using dSPACE platforms to validate software functionality, system performance, and requirements.

• MATLAB/Simulink: Support software development, modeling, simulation, and integration activities using MATLAB/Simulink.

• Debugging & Troubleshooting: Analyze test results and investigate issues using tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe.

• Test Automation: Develop, maintain, and optimize automated test scripts and test environments to improve validation efficiency.

• ADAS Validation: Support the verification and validation of ADAS functions and systems throughout the development lifecycle.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with international engineering teams, software developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful system integration and validation.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation related to test plans, test cases, results, defects, and validation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience with dSPACE HIL tools and platforms.

• Minimum 2 years of experience with MATLAB/Simulink.

• Hands-on experience in HIL testing, software validation, and test automation.

• Experience with ADAS systems is highly desirable.

• Good knowledge of automotive communication protocols, particularly CAN.

• Familiarity with CANalyzer, CANoe, CANape, and Vector DaVinci Configurator is a plus.

• Programming experience with C/C++ is a plus.

• Fluent English is mandatory, as the position involves interaction with international teams and English proficiency will be assessed during the recruitment process.
