Anta International is seeking a General Manager for Brazil to own the full P&L, drive market development, and accelerate growth through the wholesale channel and new partners. You will shape the Brazil business from an early-stage setup and build a scalable operating framework.

Based in Brazil, you will lead a small but ambitious team, manage budgets, forecast results, and report to headquarters while negotiating with distributors and retailers to expand the ANTA brand nationwide.

Qualificações

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Management, or related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in business management or commercial leadership.
  • Strong wholesale experience including distributor and key accounts.
  • Proven full P&L ownership and growth delivery.
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

What you'll do

As the General Manager for Brazil, you will have full P&L ownership of ANTA's Brazil business, with a primary focus on market development, business expansion, and sustainable growth, with a strong emphasis on the wholesale channel.

You will lead the development of the Brazil market from an early-stage business, proactively identify and develop key commercial opportunities, build a strong local customer and distribution network, and establish the organizational and operational foundation required for long-term growth.

This is a highly entrepreneurial and hands-on role. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, make things happen with limited resources, and demonstrate strong commercial drive, ownership, and execution capability.

In this role, you will:Own the overall Brazil business and deliver annual business objectives, including sales, gross margin, profitability, inventory, cash flow, and market expansion targets. Develop and execute the Brazil business strategy and annual operating plan, establishing a clear path from market entry to scalable and sustainable growth. Lead wholesale business development, proactively identify, acquire, and develop key distributors, retailers, key accounts, and other commercial partners. Drive market expansion by actively identifying new customers, channels, territories, and business opportunities, and continuously growing ANTA's market presence in Brazil. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners, leading commercial negotiations and ensuring strong execution. Develop retail and other relevant sales channels where appropriate, while building an efficient and sustainable multi-channel business model. Operate effectively in a fast-changing and resource-constrained environment, proactively solving problems, leveraging internal and external resources, and driving key initiatives from concept to execution. Build and develop the local organization and operating infrastructure across key functions, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Human Resources. Take full ownership of business budgeting, forecasting, inventory, cash flow, and financial performance, and continuously drive improvements in business results. Recruit, develop, motivate, and lead a high-performing local team, building a strong ownership-driven and results-oriented culture. Provide regular updates to Group and headquarters on business performance, market trends, competitive intelligence, key customers, and major business opportunities, together with clear recommendations. Ensure the Brazil business operates in full compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies, while effectively managing business and operational risks. Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by Management from time to time.

What you'll bring

Highly proactive, hands-on, and resourceful, with the ability to build a business with limited resources and a high degree of autonomy . Strong wholesale business development capabilities, with a proven ability to identify, approach, negotiate with, and develop key customers and commercial partners. Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills. Strong strategic thinking combined with excellent execution capability and a strong sense of ownership. Deep understanding of the Brazilian market, customers, and competitive landscape. Passion for sports is a must.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus. 15+ years of experience in business management, commercial leadership, sales leadership, or general management. Strong and proven experience in wholesale business, including distributor, retailer, key account, or channel development. Proven track record of full P&L ownership and managing overall business performance. Hands-on experience developing business and commercial networks in Brazil. Experience in retail, sporting goods, footwear/apparel, or other consumer industries is strongly preferred. Proven experience building a business, market, or organization from the ground up , particularly in a fast-growing or entrepreneurial environment. Strong track record of delivering business growth through active market development and customer acquisition. Fluent in Portuguese and English ; Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Travel

This role is based in Brazil and requires regular travel within Brazil to develop customers, visit business partners, support market expansion, and oversee local operations. Occasional travel to ANTA Group's global headquarters may also be required.
