Lever, Inc. is seeking a Full Stack Developer based in Brazil for a fully remote, six-month contract.

You will work across the full stack—React on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, APIs, and databases—delivering production-ready features from prototype to deployment in an international environment. You will apply modern engineering practices, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted tools while collaborating with developers, QA, architects, and other stakeholders.

Qualificações

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Full Stack Developer based in Brazil.

This is a fully remote opportunity to build and maintain modern, scalable web applications across the full technology stack.
You'll work across frontend experiences, backend services, APIs, databases, testing, and production environments.
The role offers strong ownership, allowing you to take features from initial prototype through to production-ready delivery.
You'll collaborate closely with developers, QA professionals, architects, and other stakeholders in an international environment.
Modern engineering practices, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools are part of the day-to-day workflow.
You'll have the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges while contributing to reliable, high-impact digital products.
The position is initially offered for a six-month contract, with an ASAP start and advanced English required.

Accountabilities

• Design and develop responsive, interactive user interfaces using modern frontend technologies, particularly React.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Develop end-to-end features that connect frontend experiences with backend services, APIs, and data.
• Design, implement, and maintain databases and data integrations, including GraphQL-based services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across frontend, backend, integrations, and production environments.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code that can be effectively extended by other developers.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, continuous delivery, and automated testing practices.
• Contribute to CI/CD workflows and support reliable application deployments and production operations.
• Optimize application performance and help maintain stable, production-ready applications.
• Collaborate with developers, QA professionals, architects, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Document technical decisions and communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and documentation while critically reviewing generated output for quality, security, and accuracy.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional software development experience, particularly with React and Node.js.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience across frontend development, APIs, backend services, authentication, testing, and debugging.
• Experience deploying or supporting applications in production environments.
• Practical experience with GraphQL and Apollo.
• Solid understanding of Git, pull‑request workflows, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience working from the command line in Mac or Linux environments.
• Ability to take a prototype through to a production‑ready solution.
• Experience contributing to at least one large‑scale software project.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies, concepts, and engineering practices quickly.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
• Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor, with the ability to critically evaluate AI‑generated code.
• Understanding of responsible AI development practices, including appropriate handling of client code and data.
• Advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams.
• Experience with NestJS, Next.js, or server‑side rendering is an advantage.
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or comparable databases is beneficial.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Styled Components, CMS integrations, or e‑commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus, Commerce Cloud, or Hybris is a plus.
• Experience incorporating AI‑assisted development into software engineering workflows is an additional advantage.
