Lever, Inc. is seeking a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Full Stack Sênior based in Brazil.

You will work across back-end and front-end development, delivering scalable, secure digital products with a focus on quality and performance. You will collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to shape product evolution, participate in technical decisions, and explore new technologies while strengthening engineering practices across CI/CD and observability.

Qualificações

• Higher education degree in Technology or a related field.
• Solid experience with Java and PHP backend development.
• Strong VueJS experience for front-end work.
• Advanced PostgreSQL and relational data modeling knowledge.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs with CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with distributed applications and messaging systems.
• Experience with automated unit and integration testing.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pessoa Desenvolvedora Full Stack Sênior based in Brazil.

This is a senior full stack engineering opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex challenges and building digital products with real-world impact. You will work across back-end and front-end development, contributing to applications that require quality, performance, security, and scalability. The role combines hands‑on software development with active participation in technical decisions that shape product evolution. You will collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA in a multidisciplinary environment focused on delivering modern, user-centered solutions. There is also room to research new technologies, propose improvements, and help strengthen engineering practices across the team. Autonomy, technical ownership, and a strong culture of collaboration are central to the position.

Accountabilities:

• Develop and maintain back-end applications using Java and PHP, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability.
• Build responsive, high-performing front-end interfaces with VueJS, applying sound UI/UX and development practices.
• Design, build, and integrate secure and scalable REST APIs.
• Develop and maintain automated unit and integration tests to support software quality and reliability.
• Analyze application usage and performance data to identify opportunities for improved stability, efficiency, and user experience.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define and implement technical solutions aligned with product needs.
• Research emerging technologies and propose technical and architectural improvements that can strengthen the team and its products.
• Contribute to engineering best practices across CI/CD, version control, clean code, quality, security, and software development standards.
• Work with distributed systems, messaging, and observability practices to support robust and scalable applications.

Requirements

• Higher education degree in Technology or a related field, such as Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar areas.
• Solid professional experience developing applications with Java and PHP.
• Strong experience with VueJS for front-end development.
• Advanced knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational data modeling.
• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, using Git for version control, and working throughout the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD.
• Knowledge of distributed applications, pub/sub architectures, client-server architecture, and transactions.
• Experience implementing automated unit and integration testing.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or similar technologies.
• Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS, or equivalent solutions.
• Strong knowledge of monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, and SASS is a plus.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of Full Text Search/text analysis is a plus.
• Familiarity with public procurement processes and public‑sector business environments is a plus.
• Strong communication, empathy, ownership, initiative, and negotiation skills are valued.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
