Hesto is looking for a dynamic and energetic candidate to join Finance team. A successful candidate will manage and control all aspects of fixed and intangible assets within the organisation, ensuring accurate recording, compliance, and optimisation of asset utilisation.
Fixed Asset Register Management
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date fixed asset register for all tangible and intangible assets.
- Ensure all asset acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and impairments are correctly recorded and documented.
Asset Verification and Audits
- Coordinate and conduct regular physical verification of assets across all sites.
- Prepare for and support internal and external audits relating to fixed assets.
Asset Capitalisation, Depreciation and Amortisation
- Ensure timely and accurate capitalisation of assets in accordance with company policy and accounting standards.
- Calculate and process monthly depreciation, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Asset Reporting and Analysis
Compliance and Policy Adherence
- Ensure all asset management activities comply with company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
Support for Business Cases and Projects
- Assist in the preparation of business cases for asset acquisitions, disposals, and project‑related investments, specifically DCF’s and related analyses.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of project assets in collaboration with the project accountant.
Process Improvement
- Continuously review and improve asset management processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
- Implement best practices and leverage technology to streamline asset tracking and reporting.
Liaison and Communication
- Act as the key point of contact for asset‑related queries from internal stakeholders, auditors, and external parties.
- Provide training and guidance to operational teams on asset management procedures.
AIS Claims
- Submission and management of the AIS claim process
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of relevant Finance and manufacturing experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
