Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team as F&B Manager. The successful candidate will embed and strengthen our brand’s service standards and establish the necessary protocols to ensure a successful opening.

You will develop and implement plans for F&B operations, oversee departmental performance, maintain high food quality and service standards, and coach the team to meet objectives while complying with regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Food and Beverage Services.
• 7 to 10 years’ experience in hospitality.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional to join our team as our F&B Manager. As part of the team, the incumbent will help embed and strengthen our brand’s service & quality standards and establish the relevant protocols to ensure a successful opening.

Key Responsibilities

• The incumbent will develop and implement plans for the F&B operations. In performing this role, the incumbent will establish our operating standards, policies and associated guidelines.


• Oversee and be responsible for the efficient operations of the department, with the penultimate objective of enhancing our guests’ satisfaction.


• Maintain high standards of food quality and service standards, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and coach & develop team members to meet this objective.


• Develop strategies to improve F&B services and enhance our guests’ satisfaction.


• Ensure the financial targets of the department are met by monitoring budgets and optimizing profitability.


• Cultivate a strong people culture by investing in the coaching and development of F&B team members. The incumbent will take ownership of people-management matters for the department including recruiting, upskilling and mentoring team members.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Food and Beverage Services or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field


• 7 to 10 years’ experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.


• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.


• Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self‑motivation to enroll and complete projects
