We are seeking a seasoned Senior sales professional fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, ideally based in the LATAM region, with a minimum of eight years of sales experience, particularly in closing or hunting roles within the Mid-market and Enterprise segments.
Key expectations from the role:
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to source and develop business opportunities within your assigned territory across the LATAM region, exceeding your sales goals through meticulous stakeholder mapping, proactive prospecting, thorough qualifying, and successful closing of opportunities
- Consistently close new business at or above quota level, demonstrating a strong understanding of the LATAM market dynamics, business cultures, and customer needs
- Thrive in a metrics-driven, high-velocity, high-touch Inside Sales environment, effectively managing your pipeline and activities with a focus on the LATAM context
- Accurately move opportunities through established sales stages and provide reliable sales forecasts, tailored to the nuances of the LATAM business cycle and decision-making processes
- Leverage a technical and consultative approach, fluent in Spanish and Portuguese, to guide prospects from the initial lead stage to becoming satisfied, paying customers, acting as their primary point of contact during their trial and evaluation phase
- Deliver compelling demos and presentations to prospects across the diverse cultural and linguistic landscapes of the LATAM region, showcasing VWO's value proposition and staying ahead of the competitor landscape and our unique positioning within it
- Demonstrate strong adaptability to evolving workflows, metrics, and sales methodologies, embracing the dynamic nature of the LATAM market
- Primarily focus on driving New Business acquisition within the LATAM region, with the potential to manage renewals and upgrades as required
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail, ensuring clean and comprehensive CRM logs and adherence to all internal workflows and approval processes, keeping in mind any specific regional compliance or business practices
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated Sales Development function, potentially providing mentorship and guidance to enhance their effectiveness in the LATAM context
Desired Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of experience carrying a sales quota and successfully closing deals in software (business applications preferred) or technology sales within the LATAM region or with significant experience selling into the LATAM market
- 8+ years of Global inside sales experience, with a demonstrable track record of success in the LATAM region
- B2B SaaS sales experience is essential
- Proven experience handling an annual quota upwards of $800K
- Strong experience managing and closing complex sales cycles, navigating the specific challenges and opportunities within the LATAM market
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong rapport with professionals from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds across the LATAM region. Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese is highly preferred. Exceptional listening skills, adept objection handling, and clear articulation are critical
- Demonstrate empathy and a deep understanding of customer needs within the LATAM context, adopting a solution-oriented sales approach rather than a transactional one
- Enthusiasm for technology with demonstrated technical aptitude and the ability to articulate technical concepts to a diverse LATAM audience
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to building a world-class sales team focused on success in the LATAM market
- A strong drive to overachieve and contribute significantly to VWO's growth within the LATAM region
