Job summary

ANZ Electric is a Singapore-based electronics manufacturing solutions provider. We seek an Electronics Engineer to join our team and work with sales, international customers, and Vietnam manufacturing engineers to ensure technical requirements are clearly reviewed and implemented.

You will review RFQs, BOMs, PCBA, SMT, and manufacturing drawings, clarifying information with customers and providing engineering recommendations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electronics or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Good understanding of PCB, PCBA, SMT and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read BOMs, Gerber files, schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Strong written and spoken English communication; Mandarin skills helpful for coordination.

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, BOMs, PCB Gerber files, schematics, and assembly drawings.
• Verify component specifications, PCB manufacturing requirements, and assembly instructions.
• Clarify incomplete or conflicting technical information with customers.
• Respond to technical inquiries and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support sales during technical discussions and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with Vietnam engineering team on manufacturing feasibility and requirements.
• Support DFM and DFA reviews.
• Prepare and verify technical documentation before release to production.
• Support prototype development, NPI, and mass production.
• Coordinate engineering changes and resolve issues during production.

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Engineer to join our Singapore team. You will work closely with our sales team, international customers, and Vietnam manufacturing engineers to ensure technical requirements are accurately reviewed, clarified, and implemented.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, Bills of Materials (BOM), PCB Gerber files, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
• Verify component specifications, PCB manufacturing requirements, and assembly instructions.
• Clarify incomplete or conflicting technical information directly with customers.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide engineering recommendations.
• Support the sales team during technical discussions and customer meetings.
• Coordinate with our Vietnam engineering team on manufacturing feasibility and technical requirements.
• Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) reviews.
• Prepare and verify complete technical documentation before releasing projects to production.
• Support prototype development, New Product Introduction (NPI), and mass production.
• Coordinate engineering changes and resolve technical issues during production.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Good understanding of PCB, PCBA, SMT, electronic components, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and understand BOMs, Gerber files, electronic schematics, and engineering drawings.
• Good written and spoken English communication skills.
• Good Mandarin communication skills to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking customers and engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
• Comfortable communicating directly with international customers.
