Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. You will develop electrical designs, create single line diagrams and detailed schematics, and prepare manufacturing documents.

Minimum 5 years in energy transmission/distribution or similar fields and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering are required. You will support projects across departments and participate in customer and internal reviews, maintaining Swiss-quality

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in project kick-off meetings and define design scope.
• Check tenders against specifications, Sécheron specs, and costs.
• Create single line diagrams and detailed electrical schematics.
• Produce manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Provide production support during functional tests and FATs.
• Assist in customer approvals of electrical designs with project manager.
• Apply and evolve verification rules and implement corrective actions.
• Archive documents and respond to customers via project manager.
• Contribute to technology watch and patent ideas.

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil.

Main Tasks

• Actively participate in the Internal and/or external Kick-Off meeting of the projects you’re in charge of.
• Check tenders documents on the basis of the customer’s specifications, Sécheron specifications and cost calculations.
• Perform comprehensive Electrical Engineering such as Single Line Diagram and Detail Schematics.
• Produce manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Provide production support, especially during functional tests and customer FAT if requested.
• Participate in the approval by the customer of the electrical design, at the request of the project manager.
• Apply and evolve Record Verification Rules.
• Design and implement corrective actions from RNCs.
• Archive files and respond to customers (via project manager).
• Retrieve information for technology watch.
• Propose of ideas for possible patents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience, ideally in a similar field or in Transmission or Distribution of Energy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
