Job summary

Sécheron Hasler Group in São Paulo, Brazil, seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to electrical design, SLDs and manufacturing documentation for railway projects. You will participate in project kick-offs, review tender documents, create detailed schematics, support production tests and FAT, and assist with customer design approvals under the project manager.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering, ideally in transmission or distribution.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in project kick-offs and align with internal/external stakeholders.
• Check tender documents against customer specs, Sécheron specs and cost calculations.
• Perform comprehensive electrical engineering including SLD and detail schematics.
• Produce manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Provide production support during functional tests and FAT when requested.
• Assist in customer design approvals with the project manager.
• Apply and evolve Record Verification Rules and address RNCs.
• Archive files and respond to customers via project manager.

We are looking for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil.

Main Tasks

• Actively participate in the Internal and/or external Kick-Off meeting of the projects you’re in charge of.
• Check tenders documents on the basis of the customer’s specifications, Sécheron specifications and cost calculations.
• Perform comprehensive Electrical Engineering such as Single Line Diagram and Detail Schematics.
• Produce manufacturing documents for electrical parts.
• Provide production support, especially during functional tests and customer FAT if requested.
• Participate in the approval by the customer of the electrical design, at the request of the project manager.
• Apply and evolve Record Verification Rules.
• Design and implement corrective actions from RNCs.
• Archive files and respond to customers (via project manager).
• Retrieve information for technology watch.
• Propose of ideas for possible patents.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years experience, ideally in a similar field or in Transmission or Distribution of Energy.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar.
