Job summary

NIDEC Defense Group is seeking an Electric Propulsion Systems Engineer in São Paulo to design electric propulsion for battery-powered aircraft, from concept through certification.

You will work with a diverse team to translate customer requirements into system architecture, develop tests, and ensure safety and reliability through qualification activities.

Qualifications

• Capture of system requirements from customer specification.
• Definition of system architecture and interfaces.

Responsibilities

The Electric Propulsion Systems Engineer is responsible for developing electric propulsion systems for aerospace applications, from the system specification and conceptual design to detailed design, prototyping, integration, qualification and certification.

On this position the candidate will work in a collaborative cross-functional environment for the development of an Electric Engine.
