Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
  • 7 years of experience in motor control / modelling.
  • Experience with airworthiness certification requirements and safety analysis (FMEA/FTA).
  • Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and system architecture definition.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and review system requirements from customer specifications.
  • Define system architecture and electrical/data interfaces.
  • Analyze system safety and reliability; perform qualification planning and tests.
  • Coordinate with equipment and safety engineers to ensure objectives.
  • Develop HALT, HASS, ESS procedures and test setups.
  • Prepare reports and verify system requirements and certification objectives.

Job Summary

As a System Engineer with the Nidec Aerospace team, you will have the opportunity to apply and develop your expertise to design electric propulsion systems for the battery-powered aircrafts that will enable the world to sustainably and efficiently get from point A to point B. Minimum Requirements
