About the Role

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsperson to join their growing operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate fabrication and shop drawings for a variety of steel, glass, and bespoke construction projects.

This position requires strong technical drawing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with production and project teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and delivered in line with client requirements and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for steel, glass, and bespoke structures.
• Develop shop drawings for railings, staircases, façades, doors, and custom architectural features.
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure designs are practical, efficient, and buildable.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience in fabrication drawings preferred.
• Good understanding of steel, glass, and/or construction detailing.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience in a similar role within fabrication, construction, or manufacturing will be considered an asset.
