Sibelco Group is seeking a Director of Operations for Analandia to lead cluster-wide plant operations and ensure alignment with our global strategy. You will own the cluster P&L and drive safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency while advancing sustainability initiatives.

The role demands engineering leadership, a track record of managing large-scale operations in multinational settings, and fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mining, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields).
• Strong leadership experience in industrial or mining operations within multinational companies.
• Proven experience managing P&L, operational KPIs, HSE performance and cost efficiency.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Willingness to travel and operate in a dynamic, matrix-based environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead all operational activities across the cluster, ensuring compliance with global HSE and sustainability standards.
• Act as co-owner of the cluster P&L, delivering financial and operational results.
• Implement operational and growth initiatives to drive continuous improvement.
• Define the organizational structure and staffing needs for Operations and Business Services Teams.
• Develop people capabilities, succession planning and career progression within the cluster.
• Partner with Business Services to ensure effective execution of shared processes.
• Co-lead Cluster Performance Triangle Meetings with the Cluster Commercial Director.
• Provide strategic mining support to the VP SAM and contribute to mining economics decisions.

Job Description:

Your Impact in This Role

As part of the Operations Team you will be , responsible for leading the overall operations of the cluster’s plants and ensuring the implementation of Sibelco’s operational and growth strategy in the region.

This role is co-owner of the cluster P&L , driving safety, quality, productivity, cost efficiency, sustainability and performance in line with global standards.

In the role, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Lead all operational activities across the cluster, ensuring compliance with global HSE , quality and sustainability standards.
• Act as co-owner of the cluster P&L , delivering financial and operational results aligned with the strategic plan.
• Implement operational and growth initiatives, promoting continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Define organizational structure and staffing needs for Operations and Business Services Teams (Finance, HR, Procurement).
• Develop people capabilities, succession planning and career progression within the cluster.
• Partner with Business Services to ensure effective execution of shared processes.
• Co-lead the Cluster Performance Triangle Meetings with the Cluster Commercial Director.
• Provide strategic mining support to the VP SAM , contributing to mining economics assessments and decisions on mine development.

What you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mining, Production, Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, or related fields).
• Strong leadership experience in industrial or mining operations, preferably within multinational companies.
• Proven experience managing P&L , operational KPIs, HSE performance and cost efficiency.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).
• Strong leadership, decision-making and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural and matrix-based environment.
• Availability for travel.
