A Wabtec está buscando profissional presencial em Contagem, MG, para atuar no desenvolvimento de aplicações Windows Forms usando VB.NET e C#. Você trabalhará com SQL Server e Oracle para garantir integridade de dados, desempenho e confiabilidade.

Você irá desenhar, desenvolver e manter componentes-chave, revisar código, orientar desenvolvedores juniores e colaborar com Tech Lead, Senior Developers e Product Owner para soluções robustas e bem documentadas.

Qualificações

• Sólidos conhecimentos em VB.NET, C# e Windows Forms.
• Proficiência em SQL Server e Oracle, incluindo consultas, procedures e otimização de performance.
• Compreensão de princípios de programação orientada a objetos.
• Capacidade de trabalhar de forma independente e gerenciar várias tarefas.
• Boa capacidade de resolução de problemas e atenção a detalhes.
• Comunicação eficaz e colaboração em equipe.
• Inglês técnico desejável para participação em discussões técnicas.

Responsabilidades

• Desenvolver e manter aplicações Windows Forms com VB.NET e C#.
• Projetar, implementar e otimizar operações de banco de dados em SQL Server e Oracle.
• Colaborar com Tech Lead e developers seniores para refinar requisitos e propor soluções técnicas.
• Escrever código limpo e mantível seguindo padrões estabelecidos.
• Conduzir revisões de código e orientar desenvolvedores juniores.
• Diagnosticar e resolver problemas da aplicação com entrega de correções de qualidade.
• Criar e manter documentação técnica de features e módulos.
• Contribuir para iniciativas de melhoria contínua em processos de desenvolvimento.

Who will you be working with?

You will collaborate with the Tech Lead, Senior Developers, Junior Developers, QA Analysts, and the Product Owner. You will work within a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on delivering robust and maintainable software solutions using VB.NET, C#, SQL Server, and Oracle.

How will you make a difference?

You will design, develop, and maintain key components of a Windows Forms application using VB.NET and C#. You will work with SQL Server and Oracle databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability. Your contributions will strengthen the overall system architecture, support technical decision-making, improve maintainability, and help drive best engineering practices across the team. You will also support continuous improvement and help mentor less experienced developers.

What will your typical day look like?

• Develop and maintain Windows Forms applications using VB.NET and C#.
• Design, implement, and optimize database operations in SQL Server and Oracle.
• Collaborate with the Tech Lead and senior developers to refine requirements and propose technical solutions.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards.
• Conduct code reviews for junior developers and provide constructive technical guidance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of fixes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for features, modules, and system components.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in development processes, tools, and team workflows.
