BettingJobs is working with our client in their search for a Copywriter to join their team based remotely in Brazil.

Responsibilities

• Create compelling, accurate, and engaging copy in both Portuguese and English for various digital platforms including website, emails, and in-app messages.
• Support and manage daily interactions across social media platforms – primarily Instagram, but also YouTube and TikTok.
• Provide timely customer support via social channels, particularly during off-hours (outside Gibraltar working hours).
• Collaborate with our marketing and creative teams to localise campaigns for the Brazilian market.
• Assist in leveraging and activating our sponsorship assets in Brazil, particularly our partnerships with female MMA fighters.
• Maintain tone of voice and brand consistency across all communications.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity within the iGaming and social media space.

Requirements

• Fluent in Portuguese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Proven copywriting experience, ideally within the iGaming or online gambling industry.
• Strong understanding of Brazilian culture, particularly in relation to sports and entertainment.
• Experience handling social media channels (Instagram is essential; YouTube and TikTok are a plus)
• Comfortable working independently and being responsive during non-standard hours.
• Ability to handle and triage customer queries in a professional, brand-aligned manner.
• Based in São Paulo or able to demonstrate strong connections to the local market.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of sports sponsorships or athlete marketing, particularly within MMA.
• Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
• Familiarity with influencer marketing and user-generated content strategy.
