Huisman is hiring a Control Systems Engineer PL to join a global team in Navegantes, SC. You will translate client needs into robust control solutions, support field operations, and collaborate with the Netherlands team to ensure a consistent global approach.

The role requires strong PLC and SCADA experience, reading technical drawings, CREA registration, and a degree in Electrical, Automation or Mechanical Engineering. The position offers hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• Fluent English is required and will be tested.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Automation Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• PLC programming skills (ladder, SCL, STL).
• Knowledge of SCADA programming and Drives.
• Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical diagrams.

Responsabilidades

• Translate client requests into control system modifications, plans and budgets.
• Provide technical support to operations and field teams.
• Collaborate with the CS engineering team in the Netherlands for global alignment.
• Attend client meetings to support sales proposals with technical inputs.
• Provide technical training to field engineers and support during on-call hours.

What do we expect of you?

As a Control Systems Engineer PL. you will be responsible for:

• Translate client requests into technical solutions by preparing control systems modifications, work plans, and budget estimations.
• Technical support of the operations team, i.e. field engineering and service operation leads.
• Collaborate with the CS engineering team in the Netherlands to enable a global way of working.
• Attend client meetings to provide technical support for sales offers.
• Provide technical training to the field engineering team.
• Emergency call support during local office hours and stand‑by during weekends.

You have/are:

• Advanced/fluent English (will be tested during the selection process).
• A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; Automation Engineering; Mechanical Engineering.
• PLC programming skills (ladder, SCL and STL).
• Knowledge in SCADA programming and Drives.
• Knowledge in reading and understanding technical drawing (mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagrams).
• CREA registration.
• Interest in working at the Huisman office in Navegantes/SC.
• Knowledge of Huisman equipment will be a plus.
