Progen Holdings Ltd is seeking a BIM modeller to develop detailed 3D ACMV models and support design integrity across multidisciplinary teams in the Norte region of Brazil. You will ensure accuracy, compliance with standards, and generate documentation for fabrication and commissioning.

The role requires 1–2 years of BIM modelling experience, with a background in ACMV, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage. Join a growing team delivering complex projects on site.

Qualificações

• 1–2 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably with ACMV projects.
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of ACMV principles including ventilation, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection.

Responsabilidades

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models of ACMV systems based on drawings and calculations.
• Input material specs, installation instructions, and maintenance schedules into BIM models.
• Conduct site inspections to verify and update BIM models and maintain model integrity.
• Model complex geometries and assemblies while adhering to BIM execution plans.
• Generate shop drawings, sections, schedules, and details from BIM models for fabrication and coordination.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to resolve clashes early in design.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve conflicts.
• Utilize clash detection software to improve design accuracy and reduce rework.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings reflecting final conditions.
• Provide technical support and contribute to BIM workflows.

Job Summary

Develop detailed 3D BIM models of ACMV systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support design integrity, clash resolution, and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate 3D BIM models of ACMV systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, and components based on engineer drawings, specifications, and calculations
• Input material specifications, manufacturer details, installation instructions, and maintenance schedules into BIM models to enhance project documentation
• Conduct site inspections to verify and update BIM models, maintaining model integrity and consistency throughout the project lifecycle
• Model complex geometries and assemblies while adhering to local regulations, project standards, and BIM execution plans
• Generate shop drawings, sections, schedules, and details from BIM models to support fabrication, installation, and coordination activities
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure design integrity and resolve clashes effectively
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings to identify and resolve conflicts between building systems early in the design process
• Utilize clash detection software to detect and resolve clashes, improving design accuracy and reducing rework
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings to reflect final project conditions accurately
• Provide technical support to project teams and contribute to the development and implementation of BIM workflows
• Generate reports and schedules from BIM models, including material takeoffs, equipment lists, and construction sequencing to support project planning
• Other ad-hoc duties when assigned

Required competencies and certifications

• 1–2 years of experience in BIM modelling, preferably with ACMV projects
• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong understanding of ACMV principles including ventilation rates, duct sizing, pipe sizing, and equipment selection
• Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD MEP, and Navisworks Manage
• Knowledge of current BIM standards and technologies
