AGCO in Canoas, Brazil, is hiring an Associate Design Engineer, Crop Care Application, onsite, permanent. You will act as a JR design engineer for development of engineering projects released to production with focus on performance, durability, quality and serviceability.

Key duties include leading product development, applying DVPR and DFMEA, creating CAD models and drawings, and coordinating prototype testing with manufacturing and suppliers.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related).
• Knowledge of GD&T and quality tools such as DFMEA and DVPR (DVP&R).
• Experience with 3D CAD software; CREO is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development of new products and technologies.
• Design and implement engineering solutions with calculations and analysis.
• Ensure projects meet schedule and budget targets.
• Collaborate across customers, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing and supplier teams.
• Create, review, and release 3D CAD models and 2D drawings; maintain release docs.
• Support prototype sourcing, testing and validation.

Job Summary

The purpose of this job is to act as Design Engineer JR on development of engineering projects for release to production in a manner to ensure products provide superior performance, durability, quality and serviceability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development and Engineering Solutions

• Lead the development of new products and technologies.
• Design and implement engineering solutions, including technical calculations and analysis.

2. Project and Quality Management

• Ensure technical excellence while delivering projects on schedule and within budget targets.
• Apply engineering and quality methodologies and tools, including DVPR, DFMEA, 8D, and Design Quality Reviews.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Foster effective communication and collaboration with customers, manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, and supplier teams.

4. Product Design and Release

• Create, review, and release 3D CAD models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Prepare and maintain production release documentation in accordance with company standards.

5. Prototype Development, Testing, and Validation

• Support prototype sourcing, acquisition, and assembly activities.
• Coordinate and monitor laboratory and field testing to validate product performance and reliability.

Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Production, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related discipline).
• GD&T;
