Raffles Medical Group Ltd in Brazil is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations to support the delivery and day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure services.

The role provides technical leadership and operational oversight across infrastructure services, ensuring systems and platforms remain reliable, secure and available within agreed service levels. You will work with engineers, cybersecurity, DevOps, stakeholders and external vendors.

Qualificações

• 3–5 years of IT infrastructure operations experience in regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, cloud platforms and security controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
• Certifications such as CCNA/Network+, ITIL Foundation or CCSP/GSEC are advantageous.
• Troubleshooting, documentation and stakeholder management skills.

• Ensure availability, performance, backup and recovery within SLAs/KPIs.
• Lead incident and major incident resolution including root cause analysis.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations to support the delivery and day-to-day management of our IT infrastructure services.

The role provides technical leadership and operational oversight across infrastructure services, ensuring systems and platforms remain reliable, secure and available within agreed service levels. You will work closely with infrastructure engineers, application teams, cybersecurity, DevOps, business stakeholders and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of infrastructure services including servers, cloud platforms, networks, storage and related support services.
• Ensure infrastructure availability, performance, backup and recovery requirements are maintained within agreed SLAs and KPIs.
• Lead incident and major incident resolution, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage incident, problem and change processes in accordance with ITIL best practices.
• Maintain infrastructure SOPs, runbooks, incident records and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with application, cybersecurity and DevOps teams on infrastructure implementations and changes.
• Manage vendor performance, escalations and service-level requirements.
• Identify recurring infrastructure issues and implement long-term improvements.
• Support automation, standardisation and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
• Coordinate infrastructure migrations, platform upgrades and capacity planning.
• Recommend improvements to infrastructure availability, scalability and performance.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to infrastructure engineers.
• Coordinate team workload, schedules and on-call arrangements.
• Support disaster recovery drills, business continuity exercises, audit and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate significant operational, technical and security risks to management and provide appropriate recommendations.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure operations, implementation and/or support, preferably within an enterprise or regulated environment.
• Strong working knowledge of networking, servers, cloud infrastructure, identity management, Microsoft 365, backup/disaster recovery, monitoring and security controls.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and compliance-driven environments would be advantageous.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+/Security+, ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Azure, CCSP or GSEC would be advantageous.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and documentation skills.
• Good stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• Able to provide technical guidance and coordinate infrastructure operational activities.
• May be required to travel regionally for project support, stakeholder meetings and knowledge transfer.
