ELOB is seeking an experienced RF Unit Repair Engineer in Brazil to support repair, troubleshooting, testing, refurbishment, and maintenance of RF-related semiconductor equipment components. You will diagnose electrical/RF failures, perform component-level repairs, and prepare repair reports per quality standards.

You will work with RF generators, matchers, RPS units, applicators and related modules, conducting functional tests and ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria before shipment to

Qualificações

• Experience repairing RF-related semiconductor equipment and modules.
• Ability to diagnose electrical and RF failures and perform component-level repairs.
• Familiarity with test equipment for RF performance measurements.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, and testing of RF units and related equipment
• Repair RF Generators, RF Matchers, RPS units, RF Applicators, and associated modules
• Perform component-level troubleshooting including capacitors, resistors, inductors/coils, relays and switches, transformers, RF power devices, control boards and PCBs, sensors and feedback circuits, connectors and cables
• Identify root causes of electrical, RF, mechanical, and functional failures
• Carry out soldering, desoldering, rework, and PCB/component replacement
• Perform preventive maintenance and refurbishment activities
• Perform electrical and RF performance measurements using test equipment such as oscilloscope, digital multimeter, LCR meter, VNA/network analyzer, RF power meter, function generator, and hi-pot/insulation tester
• Measure and analyze parameters such as forward power, reflected power, RF voltage/current, frequency, impedance, capacitance, inductance, resistance, and resonance characteristics
• Establish and maintain repair acceptance criteria and test limits
• Perform final functional testing before shipment to customers

About the role
