Cisco Brazil is seeking a Finance Operations Manager to lead Collections, Accounts Payable, and Billing. You will drive end-to-end processes, ensure on-time invoicing, optimize working capital, and maintain Brazilian tax and accounting compliance.

You will manage a dedicated team across three functions and collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations. The role requires 7+ years of leadership experience, ERP expertise (Oracle, HighRadius), advanced Excel, and fluency in Portuguese

• Fluent in Portuguese (native) and advanced English.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Billing, Accounts Payable, and Collections teams.
• Set objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide coaching.
• Oversee daily operations across Billing, AP, and Collections with SLA adherence.
• Manage all Billing activities: invoices, policies, and compliance with tax rules.
• Develop collections strategies, set KPIs, analyze aging, and optimize recoveries.
• Supervise AP activities: invoicing, payments, reconciliations, month-end close.
• Coordinate with Procurement, General Accounting, and Treasury for process alignment.
• Identify process improvements and drive internal controls and audits.
• Prepare management reports on cash flow and functional performance.

The Finance Operations Manager (Collections, Accounts Payable & Billing) will be a critical leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing the end-to-end operational processes of Collections, Accounts Payable, and Billing for our operations in Brazil. This role will ensure the accurate and timely generation of invoices, efficient recovery of outstanding receivables, precise and punctual processing of payments to vendors, and strict adherence to Brazilian financial, tax, and accounting regulations. The successful candidate will drive process improvements, lead a dedicated team, and contribute significantly to the company's financial health and operational efficiency.

Your Impact

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Collections, Accounts Payable, and Billing teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative environment.
• Set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
• Oversee daily operations across all three functions, ensuring adherence to established procedures and service level agreements.

Billing Management

• Manage and supervise all billing activities, ensuring the accurate, complete, and timely generation of invoices to customers.
• Develop and implement billing policies and procedures in line with company strategy and contractual agreements.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian tax regulations related to invoicing (e.g., Nota Fiscal Eletrônica, ISS, ICMS).
• Coordinate closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations teams to ensure correct billing parameters and resolve any discrepancies.

Collections Management

• Develop, implement, and monitor effective collections strategies and policies tailored for diverse customer segments and portfolios.
• Establish collections targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking team and portfolio performance.
• Analyze aging reports, delinquency rates, and bad debt provisions, identifying trends and proposing corrective actions.
• Negotiate with delinquent customers, seeking solutions that preserve customer relationships while maximizing recovery.
• Ensure compliance with Brazilian collections laws and consumer protection regulations (e.g., Código de Defesa do Consumidor).

Accounts Payable Management

• Manage and supervise all Accounts Payable activities, including invoice processing, payment execution, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments to vendors, employees, and other financial obligations.
• Guarantee compliance with internal company policies and all relevant Brazilian tax and accounting regulations (e.g., withholding taxes like IRRF, ISS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL, and ancillary obligations).
• Manage vendor relationships, resolve invoice disputes, and ensure payments are made within agreed-upon terms.
• Collaborate with Procurement, General Accounting, and Treasury departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment of processes.

Process Optimization & Compliance

• Identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement across Billing, AP, and Collections functions.
• Develop and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity.
• Actively participate in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Prepare and present comprehensive management reports on Billing, AP, and Collections performance, cash flow, and financial metrics.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, or a related field.
• Post-graduate degree or MBA in Finance, Business Management, or a related area is a plus.
• 7+ years of proven leadership experience managing at least two of the three functions (Billing, Accounts Payable, Collections), with a strong understanding of all three, preferably within a medium to large-sized company in Brazil.
• In-depth knowledge of Brazilian tax and accounting legislation (ICMS, IPI, PIS, COFINS, ISS, IRRF, Nota Fiscal Eletrônica, etc.) and best practices for Billing, Accounts Payable, and Collections.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (Oracle, Highradius) and financial automation tools.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in Portuguese (native level) and advanced English is required.
