Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is hiring for a remote mobile test automation role. You will automate and expand our regression suite, focusing on iOS and Android coverage and reducing manual testing requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in mobile test automation (Kotlin preferred), with Firebase/Test Lab experience and familiarity with UiAutomator and Robolectric. Working hours align with EST morning window.

Responsibilities

• Automate our existing regression testing suite in Test Rails (~150 manual tests) and expand automated coverage.
• Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android, replacing manual regression tests and covering critical functionalities.
• Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

What you will do

Automate our existing regression testing suite that currently lives in Test Rails (~150 manual tests). Once that is complete, the next objective will be to expand the automated tests to improve coverage;

Build and maintain automated tests for current features across iOS and Android platforms, with a focus on ensuring they replace manual regression tests and cover critical functionalities;

Prioritize automated testing tasks, excluding responsibilities related to new feature development.

Must haves

2+ years of experience with mobile test automation, ideally using Kotlin ;

Working experience in Firebase & Test Lab (ideally);

Familiar with UiAutomator, Robolectric for Android;

Mandatory working hours 9 am – 1 pm EST.
