Jobtailor is seeking a skilled software engineer to build AI-native software solutions, guiding agents and LLMs from specifications while owning the outcome. You will practice Spec-Driven Development, craft verifiable plans and acceptance criteria, and collaborate in agile teams to deliver reliable, testable code. Experience with .NET/React stacks, Git, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes is valued.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the .NET and React stacks.
• Ability to work across the other stacks with support from AI.
• Proficiency in Spec-Driven Development, including unambiguous specifications, verifiable plans, and acceptance criteria.
• LLM Context Engineering, including instructions, constraints, examples, tool/MCP selection, and context-window management.
• Responsible use of generative AI and agentic tools in development.
• Ability to evaluate, validate, and correct AI-generated and third-party code.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-organized, and testable code.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming and/or sound design principles.
• Practical experience with unit and/or integration testing.
• Experience using Git and collaborating through Pull Requests.
• Experience with SQL databases and data-modeling fundamentals.
• Practical experience with Scrum, Kanban, or XP.
• Clear writing and specification skills.
• Critical thinking and technical skepticism.
• Comfort with ambiguity and delegation.

Responsabilidades

• Build software in an AI-native way, directing agents and LLMs from specifications while retaining technical ownership of the outcome.
• Specify, orchestrate, review, and take responsibility for the code produced.
• Drive the Spec-Driven Development lifecycle, transforming requirements into executable specifications and context artifacts.
• Calibrate AI autonomy progressively according to risk and context maturity.
• Participate in the Augmented Pull Request process, reviewing syntax, intent, acceptance criteria, technical decisions, and functional impact.
• Develop skills, patterns, architectural decisions, connectors, and MCPs to make agents consistent and reliable.
• Apply sound architecture and engineering practices to monolithic and/or distributed systems.
• Contribute to automated testing, quality and cost observability of AI output, and the reduction of rework and technical debt.
• Work in collaborative teams using agile methodologies, code review, pair programming, and mob programming.
• Share learnings and receive mentorship from more experienced professionals.
