Jobtailor is seeking an experienced AI/ML engineer in Brazil to design, develop, and deploy AI solutions across diverse business use cases. You will own the model lifecycle from data exploration to production monitoring, building pipelines and MLOps workflows.

You will train ML/DL models for NLP, CV, and classification, and build LLM-based apps with an emphasis on performance, cost optimization, and robust testing. Fluency in English is required, and a Master’s is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, engineering, math, statistics, or related field.
• 5+ years software development with 2+ years AI/ML.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the ML ecosystem.
• Experience with LLMs, AI APIs, and prompt engineering.
• Knowledge of vector databases and cloud platforms.
• English proficiency (intermediate-advanced).
• Master’s degree in AI/ML is a plus.
• Experience with LangChain, agent frameworks is a plus.
• Cloud/ML certifications are a plus.

• Work autonomously across the entire model lifecycle, from data exploration to production monitoring


• Develop and train ML/DL models for classification, prediction, NLP, and computer vision

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field


• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years working with AI/ML


• Strong proficiency in Python and the ML ecosystem (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, scikit-learn)


• Experience with LLMs, AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), and prompt engineering


• Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector)


• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containers (Docker, Kubernetes)


• Familiarity with MLOps practices and model versioning


• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency


• Master’s degree in AI, ML, or a related field (a plus)


• Experience with LLM fine-tuning and RLHF (a plus)


• Knowledge of computer vision (YOLO, ViT) (a plus)


• Cloud or ML certifications (a plus)


• Experience with LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, or agent frameworks (a plus)
