Job summary

FullStack is seeking a skilled GCP DevOps Engineer to join our remote-capable talent network. You will work on AI-assisted engineering workflows, implement CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with client teams to deliver reliable cloud-native solutions.

Required: 5+ years of DevOps/Software Eng experience, advanced English, and a four-year degree. Strong GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and observability skills are essential for production environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools.
• Advanced English is required.
• Four-year college degree required.
• Production experience with GCP services (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, GKE).
• CI/CD pipelines design, build and maintenance in production environments.
• IaC using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision cloud infrastructure.
• Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana).

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as an Agentic GCP DevOps Engineer.

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Software Engineering / DevOps experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering workflows and agentic AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) integrated into daily development routines.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Production experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), specifically managing services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud SQL, and GKE.
• Proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native applications in production environments.
• Hands-on Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with containerization and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes (GKE).
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using tools such as Google Cloud Observability (Stackdriver), Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Demonstrated experience optimizing GCP infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile/Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
